Welcome to DebateDash, an AI-enhanced debate platform designed for civil, challenging, and creative exchanges. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using https://debatedash.com (the "Platform", "Service", or "Site").

By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

By using this Platform, you confirm that you meet all of the following eligibility criteria:

a) You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher).

This Platform is intended only for individuals who are legally permitted to enter binding agreements and access content that may contain mature, political, or controversial themes. If you are under the age of 18, you are strictly prohibited from using the Platform or creating an account, even with parental or guardian consent.

b) You are not subject to international sanctions.

You may not access or use this Platform if you are:

Located in or a citizen of a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions by the United States (OFAC), European Union, United Nations, or United Kingdom; or
Listed on any government-issued watchlist such as the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List, the EU Consolidated Sanctions List, or similar.

Any attempts to bypass regional restrictions through VPNs, proxies, or alternate payment methods may result in permanent account suspension and loss of access to any Vox or platform assets.

We reserve the right to request age or identity verification and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these eligibility requirements.

2. Account Rules

Maximum 3 accounts per individual.
Account sharing, selling, or transferring is strictly prohibited.
Violations may result in permanent bans and loss of all Vox or purchased assets without refund.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. User Content

You are solely responsible for:

The content you submit (posts, replies, usernames, avatars).
Any opinions or statements made during debates.

We do not endorse or take responsibility for any views expressed by users.

4. Mature Content & Warnings

Some debates may contain:

Mature themes or strong language.
Political topics, satire, or social commentary.

We do not allow:

Sexually explicit content or erotica.
Terrorist promotion or endorsement of hate crimes.
Racist, homophobic, sexist, or misogynistic content.
Harassment, doxxing, or malicious personal attacks.

We reserve the right to moderate or remove content and issue bans based on violations.

5. Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyrighted material appears on this site without authorization, please send a takedown request to:

A statement under penalty of criminal perjury that you own the rights.

6. Vox Currency and Purchases

Vox is an in-app cosmetic currency used for visual flair like animated upvotes. Vox has no real-world monetary value, and:

Cannot be traded, sold, or exchanged for goods or services.
Is non-refundable, including if your account is suspended or deleted.
Cosmetic items may be changed, removed, or altered at our discretion.

7. Platform Abuse

You must not:

Use bots, scrapers, exploits, or automated tools to interact with the site.
Manipulate debates, vote farming, or abuse cooldowns.
Harass or dox other users, moderators, or AI bots.

Violations may lead to account bans without warning.

8. Data Use, Privacy, and Security

We take user privacy seriously but do not guarantee confidentiality of any user-submitted content.

We are not responsible for:

Leaked data due to your actions (e.g., sharing screenshots, accidental reveals).
Doxxing that occurs on or off the platform.

9. User Content and Intellectual Property

1. Ownership and Responsibility

You retain ownership of any content you upload, post, or display on DebateDash ("User Content"). However, by uploading or posting any User Content, you grant DebateDash a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

2. Copyrighted Material

Users may not upload, post, or use in their profile pictures, profile banners, bios, posts, or debates any materials that:

Infringe or violate another person's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
Contain logos, artworks, or media not owned or licensed by the user.
Use AI-generated or stock media without appropriate rights or permissions.

3. Reporting Copyright Violations (DMCA Policy)

DebateDash complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on DebateDash without authorization, please send a DMCA Takedown Request to our designated agent at:

Include the following information:

Your full legal name and contact information.
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
The URL(s) where the infringing material appears.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Your electronic or physical signature.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address above. Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, DebateDash may restore the content, unless the copyright owner files a court action within 10 business days.

5. Repeat Infringers

DebateDash reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts of users who are found to repeatedly infringe copyrights or violate intellectual property laws.

10. Child Internet Protection and Compliance

DebateDash is not intended for children under 18, and we operate in alignment with:

COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act – USA)
UK Children's Code
EU GDPR (Article 8)
Any similar regional child protection frameworks.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child has registered, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

11. Service Availability & Changes

We may:

Modify, remove, or restrict features without notice.
Change cosmetics or Vox-related features at any time.
Suspend or shut down the platform entirely.

We strive for uptime and fairness but make no guarantees of service continuity.

12. Disclaimers

DebateDash, including all AI-generated content, is provided "as-is" and "as-available." We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy of debate transcripts, AI responses, scoring mechanisms, or any user-generated material. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied—including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or civility of user content. Viewer discretion is advised.

We are not liable for:

User behaviour, including offensive language, misinformation, or harassment.
Content loss, Vox loss, or cosmetic availability changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable mandatory laws.
